The Saint Louis University Certificate in Anatomical and Physiological Sciences (CAPS) provides a two- to three-semester academic experience for post-baccalaureate scholars considering careers in medicine or biomedical sciences education. Scholars who are unable to gain admission to medical school after the first year of the CAPS program will be considered for admission to a biomedical educators master's degree program, which is under development for the second year. These programs will provide graduate-level academic experiences that facilitate acceptance into U.S. medical schools or entry into a career path devoted to teaching human anatomy and physiology.
