Panic Disorder, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Phobias, and other Anxiety Disorders

Research Interests:
Nature and treatment of anxiety disorders; especially refractory or complicated conditions. Current projects include: Brief Consultation to the Families of OCD Treatment-Refusers (Grant awarded by the Obsessive Compulsive Foundation); Integration of Psychological Services in a Primary Care Practice (Grant awarded by the Baer Foundation). Readiness Therapy for Non-Responders to Anxiety Disorder Treatment.

Teaching Interests:
Identification and management of psychosocial problems in medical settings; behavioral sciences for future physicians; electives in anxiety disorders.
