Innovative research often requires development of special equipment adaptable to new research and to support the operation of secondary, and laboratory support equipment. The machine shop was established not only to facilitate the needs of Bio-Medical and Saint Louis University Hospital community, but also to maintain and support the other various departments throughout the University.
