Welcome to the Class of 2007’s website for St. Louis Area Housing Options. We have compiled this information to help students find affordable and likable housing while in medical school. This website is updated from the information that the Class of 2004 provided to us when we were making the difficult decision on choosing where to live. The information on this website was mainly gathered from surveys from the Classes of 2006 and 2007. We hope that this information will take some stress off of your housing search. I have compiled the different living situations into four different groups: Popular Apartment Complexes, Other Rental Options (complexes with fewer medical students, four family flats, or renting a house), Buying a House/Condo, and Living with Family. Use the links to the left to find out more information!

Furthermore, if you are searching for a roommate, make sure to visit our new Roommate Search Discussion Board. (http://medschool.slu.edu/moodle/). You will need to set up a user name and password by using a valid email address. Email ellis@slu.edu for the "key" to enter the site. This is a great way for all you incoming freshmen to find roommates. When posting a discussion for a roommate, include pertinent living information about yourself: do you like to socialize vs. study all the time; do you study at home vs. library/coffee shops and what not. This type of information will help you find a good match for a roommate.
