Adolescent Axillary Hyperhidrosis Study New !
This study is treating qualifying adolescents who have excessive armpit sweating with injections of botulinum toxin A into the skin of the armpit area.
The study evaluates the effectiveness and safety in 12-17 year olds with axillary hyperhidrosis.
Genetics of Hyperhidrosis Study New !
The purpose of this study is to localize a hyperhidrosis gene. Persons with axillary (armpit) hyperhidrosis who have at least two family members who
also have excessive sweating at the armpit areas are asked to donate a mouth wash cell specimen and possibly a blood specimen.
Affected family members and one family member without excessive sweating are also requested to participate.
