Welcome to Saint Louis University School of Medicine’s Office of Student Financial Services web site. Our mission is to assist you in identifying and providing resources to meet the costs associated with our standard student budget. Funding a medical education is an important undertaking and a major factor in deciding which medical school to attend. For these reasons, we hope you take the time to read the information throughout our web site.
The web site is designed to give you comprehensive information on the available programs and requirements to be eligible for funding. We encourage you to share this information with your family. While the primary responsibility for funding your education lies with you and your family, there are also a variety of financial aid programs available to assist with your educational costs. The programs vary from Institutional scholarships and loans to federal, state and private funds. During the 2009-2010 academic year, 85% of our students received some type of financial assistance.
