Scholarship Loan Program
Founded in 1920 on the principal that an educated population is key to democracy; the Scholarship Foundation of St. Louis provides access to post secondary education via no interest loans and scholarships.
The no-interest loans are available up to an annual maximum of $6,000 depending on the student’s program level. The loans also feature a 12-month grace period after graduation before the five year repayment term begins.
The loans are available to undergraduate, graduate, professional and vocational/technical degree seeking students. Applicants can be of all ages who demonstrate financial need, satisfactory academic progress, and strong character. Students who are residents of St. Louis City, St. Louis County, Franklin, Jefferson, Lincoln, St. Charles and Warren Counties in Missouri and the Illinois counties of Clinton, Jersey, Madison, Monroe, and St. Clair are eligible to apply.
