MINUTES
RESIDENTS ASSOCIATION MEETING

Thursday, October 7, 2004
Hanlon Conference Room 5:00 P.M.

PRESENT: Mohammad Arain, MD, Christine Foltz, MD, Richard Bao, MD, Samer Amin, MD Brian Geary and Jackie Watson GME, Dan Sabio.

Jackie Watson opened meeting in the absence of Dr. Arturo Taca who shared with the group information regarding two issues. Payroll for the residents is monthly; Dr. Taca wanted to see if we would be able to have the pay set up as a bi weekly event. After inquires Teri McCarthy was able to find out that this request could not be done since all Professional staff are paid monthly. Questions regarding the primary team for care on a trauma patient and the possibility of identifying this by coding the charts. She has to meet with the Hospital in order to address this situation. She hopes to have an update at the November 4, 2004 meeting.

Jackie Watson introduced Dan Sabio from Millenia Advisors.

Our guest speaker tonight is Brian Andrew an attorney from Husch & Eppenberger, LLC to talk about Legal Aspects of Practice Opportunites.
